Founded by a group of horse enthusiasts and nutrition experts, The Pure Feed Company was born out of a love for horses and an understanding of their unique dietary needs. We recognised a gap in the market for feed that was both nutritionally balanced and free from unnecessary additives. The Pure Feed Company is all about re-inventing equine nutrition with a view to ensuring that every horse has the opportunity to enjoy a life of optimum health & wellbeing, performance, and longevity.

We use the very best UK and international equine scientists to design and create nutritionally superior, natural, and sustainable products. The Pure Feed Company produces a range of high-quality natural horse feeds that are low in sugar and starch, high in fibre, and all contain our premium broad-spectrum balancer. Our range of complete feeds are easy to feed, palatable, competitively priced, and proven to be very effective in maximising and maintaining the performance & well-being of everything from youngstock to multi-discipline competition horses & veterans alike.

We aim to source UK-grown ingredients where possible and manufacture in UK mills – leading to reduced horse feed miles and fuel consumption. We believe that caring for horses goes hand-in-hand with caring for the environment they live in.

Elise Kings BSc
Head of Nutrition
Elise graduated from Hartpury with a degree in Equine Science before working as a veterinary nurse in an equine practice. She then moved into the equine supplement industry, gaining valuable insight into horse nutrition. Joining the Pure Feed team in 2023, she now helps owners make informed feeding choices backed by both scientific knowledge and hands-on experience.
Liv Smith MSc
Sales Executive
Liv combines academic expertise with a lifelong passion for horses. Holding an MSc from Hartpury, she has been involved with horses from a young age, giving her a strong foundation in equine care and nutrition. As part of our sales team, Liv helps customers find the right feed solutions for their horses with confidence and practical knowledge.
