Kevin has developed numerous horses to the top level of our sport and is a very accomplished coach.
He has been listed on Australia’s Elite Eventing Squad with a number of horses and was shortlisted for the 2000 Sydney Olympics on the mare Taj Mirage, on whom he also finished third and fifth at Adelaide CCI****. In 2008 Kevin travelled to Deauville, France to compete at the Eventing World Cup final where he finished tenth on Game Play.
In 2012 he decided to make the move to the UK to follow his ambitions. Since being here he has finished fifth at Luhmuhlen CCI**** on Clifton Pinot, tenth at Pau CCI**** with Fernhill Quality Street and represented Australia at numerous Nations Cup events. He has also built up a yard of 30 exciting eventing horses.
Kevin’s goal is to represent his country at the Olympics and World Equestrian Games, as well as competing in all the 4**** events around the world. His up-and-coming horse for the future is the lovely Brookfield Innocent, who recently competed successfully at the Blenheim CIC*** eight/nine-year-old event in 2017.
“The decision to move to Pure Feed was a very straight forward one for me once I learnt exactly how it works. I was lucky enough to meet founders John Calder and Lou Talintyre and their team in 2014. Once they had explained the science behind their feed it was an obvious choice for me and my team.”
“The feed is streets ahead of anything I have previously fed or come across. The ‘complete feed’ theory is the thing that appealed to me the most. The fact that you can have a complete feed in a scoop is something that is perfect for our yard and our horses.”
