Pure Feed Supported Rider Carla Milne#PureTalent Rider Results

February was a busy month for our #PureTalent dressage riders, with several having great rides at the British Dressage regionals. 15-year-old Carla Milne had fantastic results at Morris Equestrian, taking two regional titles (qualifying for the national championships) with Hey Good Looking GK in the Novice Silver and Novice Freestyle Silver and a noteworthy third place in the Elementary Freestyle – narrowly missing out on direct qualification in a third class with just 0.06% between her and second place.

Also competing at the National Championships at Hartpury College in April are Izzy Taylor, Stephanie Taylor and Sofie Butchart, who have all qualified for the Petplan Equine Area Festival Championship. Izzy will be contesting the Inter I & Inter II riding Vincente II, Sofie Butchart the Inter I with Royalty and Stephanie Taylor the Prix St Georges riding WQS Perugia, who has also just received a wildcard for the Advanced Medium Freestyle Silver!

Away from the regionals, our riders have been posting some consistently high scores within the white boards at their first shows of the year – prior to their regional success, Carla and Hey Good Looking GK scored personal bests of 75% and 79% at Elementary and Novice respectively, and Steph Taylor had a promising first win with 75+% win WGS Inanda at her first show in the Novice qualifier at Crofton Manor.

Showjumper Tia Squibb has qualified once again for The Royal International at Hickstead in the 138 final on her two new rides, Thelmas Gift and Drumaclan flight, whom she has recently taken over from her sister Eloise.
