Vittoria Panizzon

Vittoria Panizzon grew up in Italy. She represented her country at Pony, Junior and Young Rider European Championships. Vittoria became the Junior European champion and national champion with her horse Grommet. At the age of 17 she came to England to study biology at the University of Bristol and to pursue her riding career.

Representing Italy at major championships

Vittoria represents Italy at all major championships at senior level. She has been a regular team member since 2005.

Now based in West Gloucestershire, Vittoria successfully produces horses up the levels. Both of her Olympic rides, Borough Pennyz and Super Cillious, were produced by Vittoria. Borough Pennyz had an amazing debut at Badminton Horse Trials in 2013, where she was double clear to finish on her dressage score in seventh place. This earned her a vast eventing fan club! 

A regular 3* event champion

Vittoria has also won numerous other 3* events and has gained many fans worldwide thanks to her impressive jumping technique!!

Vittoria won the 2015 Olympic test event and has also won the Grantham Cup at Belton. Recently Vittoria represented the Italian team at the 2021 Olympic Games in Tokyo with Super Cillious, finishing in 27th with a thrilling, fast clear XC.
