#PureTalent Rider News February 2020

Another one of our talented dressage riders Sally Bell competed at the Regionals and did brilliantly to place 2nd in the Inter 1 Gold with Philip and qualify for the Nationals in April.

At the end of 2019, Leonie Saffy was selected for the World Class Podium Potential Pathway Programme for 2020. Ellie Fredericks was also selected for the British Eventing Youth Performance Development Squad with two horses. Both riders have been out competing and winning classes in 2020 and we look forward to following their results this year.

#PureTalent Rider Results

Over the last couple of months our riders have achieved some fantastic results. And after a wet winter our #PureTalent riders are gearing up for an exciting season ahead as we step into Spring.

At the end of last year Annabelle Trigg and Rocky scored a PB of 72.37% in the Inter 1 at Solihull in only their 4th Inter 1 together to qualify for the winter regional championships. During the winter when the grass quality is poor, Rocky is fed Pure Condition which keeps him healthy and his weight consistent. Annabelle says “I have had so many compliments on how well Rocky looks since using Pure Feed and no one believes me when I tell them he’s 18 years old! He is absolutely full of positive energy and I can’t thank Pure Feeds enough for creating this fabulous feed!”

In Scotland Carla Milne and Cookie won the Medium 75 at the Regionals and placed 4th in the Freestyle Music Medium. Carla received a wildcard to compete in the Medium Under 21 at the Winter Championships at Hartpury. Cookie loves his feed of Pure Condition and Pure Linseed which helps to keep him in tip top condition.

At the beginning of February at their first show back after a winter holiday, Hannah Thorne and Cindy placed 2nd in the 1m10 and won the 1m15. They were back out jumping at the end of the month and jumped a fabulous clear round to win the 1m15 and they came 3rd in the 1m20. Cindy has been on Pure Condition over the winter to help her to maintain weight. When her workload increases and she is out competing regularly, Hannah moves Cindy up an energy level to Pure Performance. This contains a combination of oil and oats to provide both fast-release and slow release energy to give her a boost of energy.
