Help British Equestrians for Ukraine

The crisis in Ukraine has unfolded in heart-breaking fashion, impacting people and animals in ways many of us haven’t experienced in recent history. However, the global outpouring of donations and support in the face of such conflict has been a wonderful, albeit emotional, experience to witness.

Alongside our customers and supporters, we have been looking at ways we can contribute to the relief efforts being undertaken. While we are a small company operating out of South West England, we have always been committed to supporting those in need.

We considered sending physical donations, and have a great deal of appreciation for those taking on such efforts. However, financial donations are also needed so we have chosen to support British Equestrians for Ukraine, a group of British equine organisations gathering donations and channelling resources to those affected by the conflict.

British Equestrians for Ukraine

The British Equestrians for Ukraine initiative is coordinating with the equestrian federations of Ukraine and Poland to facilitate collection and distribution of donations.

Headed by the BEF, BHS, and BETA, they are asking for donations so they can purchase essentials like horse feed, bedding and veterinary supplies, and pay for transport so resources can be distributed where they are needed most.

Disasters Emergency Committee

Alongside the equine welfare response, British Equestrians for Ukraine are also encouraging contributions to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Ukraine response.

Thank you...

However you choose to donate, your contribution is incredibly valued. There is a Ukrainian saying that, roughly translated, states ‘Hope is the last thing to die’ – if anything has been learned from recent events, it is that we have plenty of hope yet.
